The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files which your browser automatically sends to us when you access the corresponding website. The information collected and stored:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- URL of page visited including protocol and method
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Date and time of the server request

This data is processed in the server log files in order to realise our legitimate interest (pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter f GDPR). This consists of providing you as a user with functional and customised (e.g. language settings for your country) websites, so that our online offering can be continually optimised and presented in an appealing manner. In addition, cyber attacks can be prevented and averted, error analyses can be conducted and potential cases of fraud can be detected.
The data is processed by the company 1&1 on the basis of a contract data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, in which we have placed the service provider under obligation to protect our customers’ data and not to disclose it to unauthorised third parties. The data is only processed within the EU and is also not disclosed to third parties. The server log files are stored for 30 days by the provider and then deleted.

Integration of third-party content
The content of third parties, for example videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites may be integrated into this website. For this purpose, the providers of this content (“third-party providers”) always need to know the user’s IP address, because without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to the respective user’s browser. The processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Para.1 Letter f GDPR. The IP address is needed in order for this content to be displayed. We try to only use content of providers who use the IP address solely for the purpose of delivering the content. However, we have no influence over the storage of the IP address by third-party providers for statistical purposes. Where we are aware of this, we inform the users.
Functions of the web service Instagram are integrated in this website. These functions are offered by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged into Instagram, you can link to the content of our website with your Instagram profile by clicking on the Instagram button. Instagram can then assign the visit to our site to your user account. We point out that we do not obtain any information on the content of the data transmitted or its use by Instagram.
You can find further information on this in Instagram’s Data Policy: http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.
If you would like to prevent Instagram from assigning the visit to our website to your account, log out of your account before you visit our website.
